“Michael Myers was much scarier as a little boy who one day ‘snapped’. Once you have a back story, you can justify why he is doing the things he is doing and he’s no longer scary. Sure, Rob Zombie probably thought he was adding to the story - but really, he ruined any sort of scary element Michael Myers had.”
